We offer a personalized, simplified, and efficient consulting service designed to help you easily navigate your way into these fun and exciting fields!

Dark Skies Immersive Experience:

Looking for dark skies and that fully immersive astronomy or astrophotography experience? Look no further than the Prairie Skies Astro™ Ranch! Conveniently located 2 ½ hours from Houston, 2 hours from Dallas/Fort Worth, and only an hour from Waco, this astronomy and astrophotography venue boasts Bortle 3 skies, electricity, and mobile WiFi. We offer a night out under the Texas skies for beginner, intermediate, and advanced astronomers/astrophotographers alike! Bring your new telescope, camera, or both and let us guide you through setup, operation, and disassembly. Or bring your advanced imaging rig and capture that faint galaxy or comet you’ve been looking for. We offer a range of services throughout the night including all those listed above plus short educational courses, night sky tours, and more! We tailor your night to your experience level for a personalized, enjoyable adventure!


Note: Unfortunately at this time we do not offer any accommodations on the ranch. There are many nice hotels in the area though!
